Michael D. McPeck Scholarship

Michael D. McPeck, Class of 1998, was a proud member of the Poughkeepsie community and graduate of Dutchess Community College. 

A devoted husband, father, coach, and friend, Mike brought energy, generosity, and a genuine joy for life to everything he did. Whether mentoring young athletes, supporting his community, or simply spending time with his family, he led with kindness, enthusiasm, and heart. Through his involvement in youth sports and his dedication to causes like Relay for Life, Mike gave back in ways that lifted others up. Those who knew him remember not only what he did, but how he made people feel encouraged, supported, and capable of more. 

His family established this scholarship in his name to honor his legacy by helping students pursue their goals and build bright futures of their own. In doing so, it carries forward the generosity, optimism, and belief in others that defined his life.
