Cathy Tice Memorial Scholarship

A scholarship is being created in memory of Cathy Tice by her loving family and friends. Cathy's dedication to nursing will live on in the students her scholarship supports, for generations to come.

Cathy passed away on March 6, 2022 at the age of 87. She was on hospice care being cared for by her children and her friend of over 50 years, Donna Rutherford. Cathy was predeceased by the love of her life, Andy. She is survived by her four sons: Andy, Tim, Kerry and Matt and their wives, Darlene, Eileen and Elizabeth and her 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and her beloved niece Susan.

Cathy loved her church and its ministry and all of the people she met over the years. She was a gifted caregiver. Sharing her love with all. She was a retired nurse who could ride a horse bare back as well as milk a cow in her early days growing up on a farm. She had a vibrant personality, quick Irish wit, a beautiful smile and twinkling blue eyes that could light up a room. Cathy is remembered for her deep and abiding love for all people and her love of any occasion that even remotely resembled a party. She will also be remembered for her fashion statements that always included colorful scarfs and wild socks from thrift stores far and wide!

May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your beautiful face and may the One who loves us all be with you as your love remains with us forever.
