5th Annual Carmine A. Curcio Memorial Golf Tournament & Dinner
Carmine Curcio passed away on September 24, 2012 at the age of 39. He was a life-long resident of Dutchess County.
An avid golfer and Dutchess Community College Alumnus, it seemed fitting to establish an annual golf tournament to fund a memorial scholarship in his name. View photos from the 2016 tournament and dinner.
Carmine began attending DCC after graduating from FDR High School in Hyde Park. He completed one year of classes and then decided to quit college to focus on working full time. After many years, he decided to once again pursue a degree at DCC and enrolled as an adult student in 2003. He matriculated into the Business Administraiton curriculum, attended classes part time and graduated in May 2007.
The memorial scholarship has been established for an adult student, either full or part time, who is pursuing a degree at DCC.
The first scholarship was handed out on May 15, 2014.
