Funds raised for activities such as the Study Abroad Program are not meant to supplant state and county funding. The objective is to keep Dutchess Community College in the forefront, and by supporting various student programs, it will help ensure a high quality education. All state colleges are funded with public monies, but it is private donations that make Dutchess a standout among its peers by offering study abroad programs to enhance the educational experience for our students.
